This competition is only over four events, all relays. We won both of the under 15 races (medlay and free) and finished a very respectable 3rd and 4th in the senior races. That left us with 23 points, a close second to Warrender with 26 points - once again underlining our position as 2nd top club in the region.
Looking back over the past ten years, both of our under 15 relays were the fastest recorded in this competition!

A great day out at Tollcross, resulting in one Scottish Schools champion (Raquel in the fly) and two silver medalists (Katie Feather in breaststroke and Jack in the free). We also had several swimmers collecting medals in the relays - Jack, Ritchie and our friend Martin (who was in Lanzarote with us) won silver medals in the boys freestyle relay and Ellie McLaren won a bronze with Heriots in the girls relay.
No medals for the older swimmers but some fantastic times were swum - Rory W led the way in the 200m free with an 8 sec PB, Clare H finished an excellent 7th in the 200m breaststroke with a 6 sec PB and Marc finished 5th in the 200m free ahead of the exceptional Mark Szaranek. We also had some excellent swims on the 100m fly, with Lee knocking 2.5 secs off his PB and Harvey and Katie Ferguson also improving their PBs.
Finally, Rory W has achieved the bronze squad time for his 200m free (in fact he made the 14 yrs time) and both Clare H and Gavin made the bronze squad time in the breaststroke (here too Clare made the 14 yrs time).
